GREAT!!!

If you ask Rollie how he is doing, his response (along with his great smile) is always "GREAT".  Love that attitude!!!!  His final radiation treatment was on November 22nd, followed up by a nice Thanksgiving with the whole family in Fraser.

Rollie's blood work at the conclusion of his first round of treatments came back really good.  His white blood count and platelets were both down just a little bit, but all in all, the doctors were quite pleased with his progress.  He now has a four week break before the next round of oral chemo.  This will consist of a double dose of chemo for five days each month, followed by a 28 day rest period, for the next six months.

Rollie is still getting out and walking even in the slightly above zero temperatures they have been having in the Fraser Valley.  Carol and Rollie are looking forward to heading to Arizona after spending time with Kevin, Eileen, and Katie in Tellruride around Christmas. Rollie is especially looking forward to playing a lot of golf while there, and just getting out and walking in the warmer temperatures.  It will be a nice change for both of  them this winter!

It is amazing, all the cards, calls, emails and prayers that arrive on a daily basis.  What a morale booster it has been for both Rollie and Carol!

Thank you to everyone,

The Cahalane's
